Physical Therapist - New Rochelle

Position Description
The physical therapist will report directly to the owner and is responsible for the direct care of their patients. They should motivate and educate patients during treatment sessions and with home exercises to help patients achieve their individual goals while improving their overall strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination. The physical therapist should collaborate with coworkers on treatment techniques and have a teamwork approach to help their patients and the clinic succeed. The role offers the opportunity to work with Division 1 collegiate athletes, runners, golfers, tennis players, and other active individuals. A personal interest in golf would be a huge plus, as our facility includes a golf simulator, Trackman, and Sportsbox Studio for golf analysis. The physical therapist will be responsible for documenting patient care and treatment plans and completing required insurance paperwork as needed.

FLPT offers one-on-one treatment sessions to ensure individualized care and attention that encompasses the Gray Institute principles of Applied Functional Science and the Postural Restoration Institute. We are a community of educators, runners, triathletes, coaches, and all-around active individuals who share in each other’s and our patients’ successes. We not only offer physical therapy treatment but also top-of-the-line recovery services such as Boost Anti-Gravity treadmills, Normatec compression sleeves, and Infrared sauna as a one-stop shop for athletes.

Skills:
· Proven work experience as a physical therapist

Physical Therapist AIDE - Chelsea

The Physical Therapy Aide position is for the Finish Line Physical Therapy clinic located in Chelsea, New York.

Job responsibilities:

Support Physical Therapist by preparing treatment area, equipment and perform procedures under supervision
Prepare treatment room for patient and Physical Therapist
Educate patients by demonstrating proper use of ancillary services equipment (anti-gravity treadmills, Normatec Compression Sleeves, CryoTherapy, Infrared Sauna)
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures and regulations
Monitor and replenish inventory of patient room and clinic supplies and equipment; i.e. bands, physical therapy tools, laundry, coffee, etc. Notify office manager when supplies are running low and need to be re-order
Maintain patient confidence and protect confidential personal information by following HIPAA regulations
Assist front desk staff with administrative tasks as needed
Be proactive in noting things that need fixing around the office. Take care of what you can, and seek help for more complicated problems

This is a fast-paced role in a start-up sized clinic. This role is perfect for someone looking to apply to PT School in the future. Candidate should be outgoing, organized, able to effectively prioritize tasks, highly motivated to learn, and know the value of teamwork and good communication. It's a plus if you love the NYC endurance athlete community!
