Recommended Frequency Cryotherapy works most effectively when done regularly. It can be as frequent as daily; many people find that the regular routine provides the most consistent results. During the first week, it is recommended to come 4-5 times to receive the most benefit. From there, endurance athletes will see the most consistent results in coming 1-2 times/week throughout a training cycle. What To Wear During a Cryotherapy Session Upon arrival, you will be given a robe, dry socks, booties and gloves to change into. You can either choose to enter the machine with no undergarments or wear underwear or towel (+ bra or bikini for the ladies). Please bring a set of athletic clothes (top and bottom) to change into after the session, as it’s advised to spend 5-10 minutes doing active movement to enhance the overall effect. Note: cryotherapy is not recommended for those with recent heart conditions, cardiovascular issues and/or diabetes who are not taking medication, or for people who suffer from Renaud’s.
