NYC Cryotherapy

Whole Body Cryotherapy is a revolutionary treatment that uses extreme cold to promote natural healing, recovery, and wellness in just three minutes.

During your visit, you will step into our Cryo chamber where cryogenically cooled air will be pumped in, lowering the temperature to -184ºF.  The drop in temperature will increase circulation and enrich the blood with oxygen and nutrients. In just minutes, you will step out of the chamber feeling invigorated.

Research has shown the following benefits:

  • Decreased muscle soreness, pain, inflammation, and fatigue
  • Faster recovery from injury
  • Increased energy and peak athletic performance
  • Ability to train at a higher intensity and greater volume
  • Improved muscle strength and joint function
  • Boosted lymph draining and blood circulation
  • Relief from chronic conditions such as back pain, fibromyalgia, arthritis and migraines

Cryotherapy FAQ’s

Recommended Frequency

Cryotherapy works most effectively when done regularly. It can be as frequent as daily; many people find that the regular routine provides the most consistent results.

During the first week, it is recommended to come 4-5 times to receive the most benefit. From there, endurance athletes will see the most consistent results in coming 1-2 times/week throughout a training cycle.

What To Wear During a Cryotherapy Session

Upon arrival, you will be given a robe, dry socks, booties and gloves to change into. You can either choose to enter the machine with no undergarments or wear underwear or towel (+ bra or bikini for the ladies). Please bring a set of athletic clothes (top and bottom) to change into after the session, as it’s advised to spend 5-10 minutes doing active movement to enhance the overall effect.

Note: cryotherapy is not recommended for those with recent heart conditions, cardiovascular issues and/or diabetes who are not taking medication, or for people who suffer from Renaud’s. View the complete list of Contraindications. Additionally, cryotherapy is not available for people under the age of 18.
